Abundance Wants to Save Liberalism. It Can’t.

my review of Abundance, the new book by ezra klein and derek thompson — what it gets right, what it misses, and how its vision of “abundance liberalism” might actually land in the real world.

i wrote this while sick, filmed it while sick (a completely different illness), and had it edited while traveling internationally. some quotes and clips backing up my points got lost in the edit, and a few stronger arguments (plus better jokes) didn’t make it in either — but the core ideas are here, and i think a few are worth sitting with. very much a version 1. future videos will have tighter pacing, cleaner audio, sharper visuals, and less time in the oven. feedback is very welcome!
